AlixaCrochet
A star, a tree, a wreath and a candy cane. Basic stitches only.
Cotton yarn in red, white and green, a 3.5 to 4 mm hook, a needle, and buttons or beads to decorate.
Work 10 single crochet in a magic ring. For each point, chain 6 and work sc, hdc, dc and 2 treble back down the chain.
Chain 12 and work rows of single crochet, decreasing at both ends every other row. Add a trunk and button baubles.
Cover a 5 cm ring with single crochet, add a hanging loop and finish with a red bow.
Crochet four rows of 25 stitches in white and red stripes. Roll the strip into a tube, sew it and bend the top.
Soak in equal parts white glue and water, pin to shape and leave to dry overnight.
