A ball for the head and eight spirals that curl by themselves.
DK or worsted cotton, a 3 or 3.5 mm hook, safety eyes, stuffing, a stitch marker and a needle.
Start with 6 single crochet in a magic ring, increase to 30 stitches, then work 6 plain rounds.
Chain 26, then work 2 single crochet in every chain. The extra stitches force the strip to curl into a spiral.
Mark eight positions with pins. Sew on the front, back and sides first, then fill in the gaps.
