AlixaCrochet
One long rectangle, folded like an envelope and buttoned at the back.
About 300 to 350 m of worsted yarn, a 5 mm hook, a 40 cm pillow insert and three buttons.
Work rows of half double crochet over 54 stitches until the piece measures about 86 cm.
Wrap the piece around the insert like an envelope, hold the sides with stitch markers and seam them.
The last rows have buttonholes built in. Mark through them with pins and sew a button at each.
Try ridges, tassels or chunky yarn. Sizes for any insert are in the full pattern.
