AlixaCrochet
A zigzag of stripes from one repeated row.
Worsted-weight yarn in several colours, a 5.5 mm hook and scissors.
Two double crochet in one stitch make a peak. Two decreases side by side make a valley.
After three or four rows the peaks and valleys are obvious, and the work becomes relaxing and rhythmic.
A striped blanket has a lot of tails. Dealing with them as you go is far easier than at the end.
The zigzag edges are the decoration. Baby, throw and large sizes are in the full pattern.
